Paper Submission and Registration

SUBMISSION DEADLINE has passed
however the IEEE Conference Xpress Site Will remain open until 10 September 2004.  We must receive your paper by the 10th for it to be in the proceedings

The Student Travel Grant Deadline has not been extended

 NEW IEEE/COMSOC POLICY:  all accepted Globecom 2004 technical paper presenters must register at the FULL or LIMITED rate.  For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL or LIMITED registration is valid for up to three papers.  (click here to view the full policy)

All workshop presenters must be registered for the workshop their paper is in with full payment.  It is IEEE policy that every paper must have a registered author in order to be published in the proceedings.  It is IEEE Communications Society Policy that all authors/presenters must be registered.   If a workshop author has two or more papers in the same workshop they only have to pay one registration fee. If they have papers accepted in more than one workshop then they would have to register for each workshop they have a paper in.

TUTORIALS 

  Tutorial Workbook Submission 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 18 October 2005
Tutorial presentations should be emailed as an attachment to  Taper Communications,  Globecom 2004 Local Arrangements Chairs at  jessica@tapercom.com in one of the following two formats:

  • Microsoft Powerpoint (Slides will be printed in black and white 2 per page)

  • PDF file saved with 2 slides on a page (File will be printed and copied in black and white)

  Registration

Tutorial presenters will receive a One Day Complimentary Registration on the day of their tutorial.  Your badge will be available for pick-up at the Pre-Registration Counter on-site in Dallas.  If you wish to attend the Globecom 2004 Technical Conference or Forums you will need to register with payment.  

  Audio - Visual 

Each tutorial presentation room will be set with an LCD projector, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer.  If you require an overhead projector, laptop or other equipment please email Taper Communications,  Globecom 2004 Local Arrangements Chairs at  jessica@tapercom.com

FORUMS

  Registration

Forum presenters will receive a One Day Complimentary Registration on the day of their session.  Your badge will be available for pick-up at the Pre-Registration Counter on-site in Dallas.  If you wish to attend the Globecom 2004 on other days you will need to register with payment.  

  Audio - Visual 

Each forum  presentation room will be set with an LCD and overhead projector, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer.  Please bring your own laptop for use with the LCD.  

KEYNOTE AND LUNCHEON PANEL SPEAKERS

  Registration

Keynote and Luncheon Panel Speakers will receive a complimentary Full Registration.  Your badge will be available for pick-up at the Pre-Registration Counter on-site in Dallas.

  Audio - Visual

Each presentation room will be set-up for LCD projection.  The appropriate microphones and a laser pointer will also be available.  You will be contacted by one of the Local Arrangements Chairs prior to the conference to discuss the requirements of your presentation.
