Paper Submission and Registration

SUBMISSION DEADLINE has passed
however the IEEE Conference Xpress Site Will remain open until 10 September 2004.  We must receive your paper by the 10th for it to be in the proceedings

EDAS is not being used for collection of the Final Papers. You will be using IEEE Conference eXpress to upload your source file for conversion to an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF.

  1. You must first register register for the workshop their paper is in with full payment. Use the links below to register with IEEE Conference Registration. (Do not use the registration links in EDAS.) After you register, you will receive an ?attendee ref #? in both your on screen confirmation and your email confirmation code via a confirmation email. You must have the ?attendee ref #? to submit your final paper. The ?attendee ref #? is a nine digit alpha-numeric number A0A-00A-00D

It is IEEE policy that every paper must have a registered author in order to be published in the proceedings.  It is IEEE Communications Society Policy that all authors/presenters must be registered.   If a workshop author has two or more papers in the same workshop they only have to pay one registration fee. If they have papers accepted in more than one workshop then they would have to register for each workshop they have a paper in.

  1. Before actually uploading your paper, proofread your source file one more time. 

Note: the page limit varies for each workshop.  If you are not certain what your page limit is please see the CFP for your workshop and contact the organizer or chair.

(a) attendee ref#
(b) conference id = globe04

  1. After uploading your source file, submit your copyright.  Note: No paper can be printed without a copyright transfer from at least one of the paper's coauthors Submission deadline is 27 August 2004.

Audio Visual

There will be a LCD projector, overhead projector and laser pointer in each presentation room.

You will need to bring your own laptop to use the LCD projector.

Entry Into The US ? VISA Assistance
Visa applications are now subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. For many applicants, a personal appearance interview is required as a standard part of visa processing. Additionally, applicants affected by these procedures are informed of the need for additional screening at the time they submit their applications and are being advised to expect delays?  See the information in the ?Visa Assistance? section of the Web site for more information
